Cleveland High School Registration Schedule

Upperclassmen

Hours: Drop-in, anytime between 8 AM and 3 PM daily

Seniors: Friday, July 23rd or Monday, July 26th

Juniors: Tuesday, July 27th or Wednesday, July 28th

Sophomores: Thursday, July 29th or Friday, July 30th

All Makeups: Monday, August 9th

What to Expect:

Students are required by Board Policy to pay a $25 'student fee'. CHS also requires a locker rental for $5. Students on 'Free or Reduced Lunch' are exempt from these two fees. A number of classes also have a fee associated with them to cover materials, etc. You may pay by check or online at registration. By Board Policy, tuition students must pay tuition IN FULL before school starts (August 10th).

Class Schedules:

With fees paid, students will receive their final schedule of classes. There have been a few changes since preliminary schedules were mailed earlier in the summer. If there are problems with the schedule, the Counseling Office will be open to make appointments to correct the errors. NOTE: Schedules will be purged for students that have not completed registration by 3 PM on August 9th.

ID Pictures:

Pictures will be taken for IDs. Students will receive their IDs once school starts. PLEASE WEAR A SOLID, COLLARED SHIRT FOR THE PHOTO.

Parking:

Students can purchase a parking permit for $50. Because of construction, parking is NOT space-assigned. Students can choose a lot, but parking will be 'first come' during the school year. The number of permits sold will not exceed the total spots available, so a space will always be available.

Freshmen

Registration for upcoming ninth graders will be on Monday, August 2, 5:30-8:00 PM. Students will receive final schedules, pay fees, take photo IDs, and tour the facility. PLEASE WEAR A SOLID, COLLARED SHIRT FOR THE ID PHOTO. Students that are not able to attend the evening registration should drop in between 8 AM and 3 PM on Monday, August 9 to complete the registration process.

Students New to Cleveland City Schools

Please call the Cleveland High School Counseling Office at 476-1832 to set up an appointment to register. You may visit www.chsguidance.com to download documents needed to register.
